I have a white fronted amazon and also work about 9 hours a
day, including travel time. I take jake out in the morning
after he has his breakfast and he hangs out with me on a perch
while I get ready for work. As soon as i get home I take him
out again for a few hours and he does great. He's a happy
little guy and is learning to talk. I also think as long as
your amazon has plenty of toys, different varieties, it should
be fine. I also leave disney channel on the tv, he likes the
colors and animations.
