Post: Yellow nape with red vent area

Hey everyone I just went and picked up a nice young pair
of yellow napes last night and when I got home I noticed a
kind of redish wet area on the vent. the bird is pooping
well and acts happy. but we all know how they hide their
pain. they werent exactly kept in perfectly clean
conditions. so I am wondering if its just a skin
irritation. any Ideas. I am planning on taking him to
the vet in a week but I have to wait cause they are booked
up so any ideas would be great
