    Bitter apple is the answer to your question.

    Reconsider you treatment of you dog. He is being destructive
    out of boredom and loneliness. I have 8 birds and 3 dogs all
    of which came to ne as adults and my birds can walk on the
    dogs. I also have 2 cats that are afraid of my birds and
    will not go near them. It is possible to have all your
    animals get along with a little bit of time and supervision.
