If you don't treat your animals at the SAME TIME
you treat your carpets and furniture...
you are fighting a losing battle.

The cats and dogs should get flea and tick drops.
use Frontline or Advantage.
They are more expensive, but they work.
(you can get them cheaper on line too)
Make sure you get the right dosage as per weight of animals!

For all-natural herbal remedy:
mix one part (dried) Pennyroyal and Peppermint
(like one full ounce each)
to two parts (dried) Eucalyptus. (2 ounces)

double or triple the amounts if you have very
large areas or more than a room to do-

REMOVE ALL BIRDS AND OTHER ANIMALS FROM THE AREA FOR THE
ENTIRE TREATMENT TIME!!

Sprinkle liberally all over the carpets and furniture, and
under and between sofa cushions and pillows.
Let it sit overnight,
(walking on it is ok, and you can toss a sheet over the sofa
and herbs if you need to sit on it)
then vacuum up very well. Throw away the vacuum bag!!
and the trash bag you put it in.

Once you are sure its ALL completely vacuumed up, especially
under the cushions and all, it's safe for the animals to be
returned to the room.
