    To avoid the food in the crop to get spoiled because it
    stays in that high temporature too long, I generally only
    feed babies when the crop is almost empty. When the babay is
    getting older and the capacity of the crop is getting
    larger, if you feed the bird till the crop is almost full,
    the frequency of the feeding has to decrease naturally
    because it takes longer to empty the crop. The best
    indication for feeding is the status of the crop.
