Post: BEWARE of CLJ Aviary, they'll ship you sick birds

Was recently shipped this bird who upon examination by an
avian veterinarian was found to be infested with scaley
face mites (using a scraping under a microscope) and had
an infection going on as well. The beak was crusty and
wavy on both sides, and there was a hole near the cere
along with extensive burrowing from the mites that you can
see in the picture. I was given a health guarantee that
this bird was healthy when he left there, and
this "breeder" refuses to take responsibility for
something that obviously happened while in her care and
now I'M left footing the vet bills. BEWARE!
