Post: Parents plucking babies

I've been finding a lot of babies being plucked by their
parents in the nest box this year. Is this a nutritional
problem? I feed a very good quality seed/pellet mix and
fresh veggies. I give them a vitamin/mineral supplement a
few times a week, but not every day. Is there a specific
mineral they are missing in their diet? I'd appreciate
any help!
