I'm sorry to hear about Spice, Clare. Sometimes you just
don't know what happened. I will never put another bird by
our big picture window after spring. Last fall, the temps
dropped unexpectedly low one night, and my daughter's
beautiful pastel yellow/blue/green parakeet died. She still
says she sees Little Kimmie's face when she looks up and
wants to talk to her. Breaks my heart!
