    If you bird has no mate she will not want to take care of the
    eggs, if they did not mate then she will not want to take care
    of the eggs. Also some birds (like humans) are no good parents.
    Also if you do save the eggs and they hatch (20 so days later)
    she may have lost her brooding mode and will not take care of
    her babies she'll think some other bird left them to be. I know
    this so because when i took my birds babies to handfeed and then
    they begged to her 10 days afterwards she totally lost interest
    and just ignored them.
