Re: Open beak breathing?

    Hi Dee,

    My budgie will breathe that same way but only when I am trying
    to hold him or play with him. He is not that tame so I believe
    he does that type of breathing because he is nervous or
    scared. If he does that all the time maybe you can call an
    avian doctor because it can be something more serious.
