    Yes, vets a good idea just incase, but the way you describe
    her conduct its entirely possible she's, for lack of better
    words, horny. I've a female cockatoo that does almost exactly
    what you describe any time I let her on my shoulder and she
    will also rub her back end against a rope perch in her cage
    and looks to be having convulsions. She does this at various
    times of the year. It's her mating period,and at the end of
    her cycle she stops these 'activities'. I had at one point a
    female grey that did the same thing as well. A visit to the
    vets always a good idea when in doubt tho. Best of luck with
