    Hi i have just lost a bird through egg binding,and it was really
    distressing we found her dead in the nest box one morning,we had
    only had the pair a couple of weeks,but i think the signs are
    that they sit in the floor huddled up and dont make much
    movement. I hope your bird isnt egg bound,as it must have been
    agonising for the bird,her feet were tightly clenched and she
    looked like she was just nesting when we looked in the nest box
    but she didnt move of course. I would take your bird to a vet as
    soon as possible just to be on the safe side.
