I think you are both talking about getting babys to open their
beaks. I use a thumbnail to do that if there is a very weak baby.
Once the beak is open and formula goes in that's when the feeding
response takes place.

doncha love terminology stuff? :-) if we keep at it long enough we
find the answers.
