There is nothing I can add to the excellent advice and suggestions
from Karen. I just wanted to encourage you to try it all,
especially the contact call thing. I do that with mine and it
works so well, I can't describe it. Because of our contact calls
keeping us in touch, the only time I have "loud" parrots are
exactly when you would expect to anyway. A few minutes in the
morning as they greet each other and check to see everyone made it
through the night; then again as the sun sets and they "call
everyone back to the roosting place" for the evening. Good luck to
