Post: cockatoo foot injury

had to board our umbrella cockatoo-female 7yrs old in big
cage in outside aviary. something (possible raccoon) took
off two of her nails and some meat about 1/2" where base of
toenail was on front and back toes. Put septic powder on and
back toe has healed very well. Her front toe was healing
till she started picking at it. She's hard to distract cause
she's not food treats or toy receptive. Have used more
septic powder- vaselline- and antibiotic cream. Cannot take
her to vet at this time and need to pick some brains on how
to handle this.
