I had a Quaker Parrot that did this all the time. They say to
just get them interested in something else or put them in thier
cage when they start it. My quaker just didnt care. She could be
on our shoulder, sitting next to our hands and she would start
rubbing against us..so we would put her in her cage and she would
grab the nearest perch or toy and start again. Nothing stopped
her until she was ready to stop. I had thought about getting her
a mate but was afraid that she might kill him because she was so
out of hand with this behavior. Sadly, we lost her two weeks ago
and now I really miss all the noise she made while doing this.
