    hi-

    Conures are very demanding of your time.....this type of
    bird needs several hours out of its cage with you or someone
    to socialize with. I have terrers (predatory) and cats. I
    manage by having a bird room and a rule that says if a bird
    is out the other critters are not.

    And by loud they mean VERY loud especially if the bird is
    trying to get someone to come pay them some attention. Try
    getting a green cheek conure or another in the genus as they
    are alot quieter.....they will still need yourtime though.
