I think this "territoriality" (it that even a word?) is typical of
conures. It's THEIR house, we're THEIR humans, THEY are in charge.
I agree that you could impose a status-reduction plan. I don't think
your conure is going to out-grow this though. This is what makes
them so uniquely the little special little monsters they are.
