    give me a freakin break. That bird was useing his sore foot and
    leg to eat with immediately after the accident. I just love how
    everyone recommends that you should RUN to the vet for even the
    simplest things. Obviously, the poster "run to the vet" must be a
    struggling vet or studying to be one.
