I had a tiel that did that once. She was so stressed out !!
I was afraid she was going to hurt herself. I covered her cage
for awhile to let her calm down. Then, uncovered parts of it, so
she could get use to her new surroundings. Without all the "new"
things freaking her out. It took her a few days to adjust. Give
her time to settle in.
