I had 4 baby canaries all die, 1 a night. They seemed
fine the night before and then were dead in the morning, 1
by 1. I check them at 5:30 am each day. I didn't see any
signs of injury. Parents seemed to be feeding them. I
raised 1 other baby from this pair so I don't think its
genetic. Parents seem healthy. Fed all the right stuff.
Covered the cage (and it was warm in the house.)They were
fine until they left the nest. The hen is setting again
and I'm afraid to go through this again without knowing
what happened. Beautiful clutch...each one a different
color.
