Post: my Stimpy chocolate self finch is sick? Maybe???Posted by Diane on 1/30/06
I just purchased a pair of chocolate self finches, less
than a week ago, and I just love them. The male, his name
is Stimpy, is sick I assume, I came home from work
yesterday, and noticed it was cold in the apt. and the pair
were huddled up together assumingly trying to keep warm. I
turned on my space heater, and they seemed okay, so far.
Well, Stimpy, just won't speak, unlike Ren who is very
vocal. Now I know something is wrong with Stimpy. He can't
get up on the perch today, he is sleeping on the bottom of
the cage, and I'm really worried. I figure it maybe a cold,
I did talk to him, and sometimes he acknowledges me. He did
eat today, maybe he has a cold? I thought he was maybe
getting used to his new surroundings...What should I do?
