Nice advice Sue, I can tell you really care about the bird.

I don't know anything about finches so I can't advise this poster, but I can say that I
have BOUGHT birds from pet stores BECAUSE they looked sick and I worried that they
would not receive the care they needed in a place like Petco.

Personally I am glad this little finch has found a home with someone who cares about
its well being.
