Post: Canary fledgling sitting on the second nest

I have a three week old canary fledgling who has moved out
of it's nest and has decided to sit in the nest where mom
is laying her second clutch of eggs. Is this normal
behavior? (There was only one chick from the first mating,
is this typical?)
