Post: hawk after finches

I have some outside aviaries and today a red tail hawk -
actually a couple of them were hanging around. One of
them actually hanging on the wire cage after my
gouldians. Poor babies were so traumatized that I could
just reach in and pick them up and they just froze. I
kept shooing the hawk away but he kept coming back. Any
suggestion on how to discourage him off?
