The only strawberries I know of around here are novice owners who don't realize what they have except pretty little birds that they won't give up. I thought I had two green strawberry hens and two male reds, but when I put them all in my new aviary 8'wx7'dx8'tall the two sets split appart and are now acting like prs. I hope that they will mate. I know that greens and reds can't breed successfully, at least thats what I read, but they sure are acting like they want to nest since Monday. I can only hope. I will keep you posted. Please feel free to email me if you would like. It's always nice to keep in touch with other breeders of a feather so to speak. Beth
