I myself have a 10 year old grey and have been thinking the
same thing . A lot of people by getting another bird feel they
are helping out the original bird by purchasing another bird
for him/her. I was told that by doing this the bird may totally
lose interest in you as his friend or mabey not it's the chance
you will take by getting another bird for company. Grey's are
one bird that work very well alone with his owner.
