They won't lose all their feathers at once. It's more gradual. You
will see the new pinfeathers all over the bird. You will
especially notice it in the mask of the black masked bird because
the pin feathers are white and they contrast with the black
feathers on the mask's head. There will be a lot more feathers in
the bottom of the cage too. If there are any bald spots, that's
not moulting but a sign of something like mites or the bird is
