Post: I need help! My bird is too loud at night!

Hi everyone,
I just found this board.
I've had Sprite for two years. My work schedule just
changed and now I come home around 11:30 pm. Sprite
thinks that it's the evening and he wants to "talk".
In the past, we hung out in the evening and at 10pm I
would cover his cage and he would be quiet. (I live in a
condo and we can't make too much noise after 10.)
Now I get home, replenish his water and cover his cage.
He seems pretty pissed!
I'm spending more time with him in the mornings but it
doesn't seem to help.
If I react at all to his chirps, it only seems to get
worse.
I will listen to any advice that anyone will offer.
