    I believe this statement isn't entirely accurate. Cockatiels are
    the only species there are no sub-species of cockatiels.

    Colorations within a species naturally exist - however, they are
    not found in the wild due to being easily preyed upon. The
    white tiger isn't created by man, it is a naturally occuring
    coloration which is collected and bred by man for the white
    color.

    Just as in humans, coloration of eyes, hair or skin is
    genetically determined, not created by breeding with a
    subspecies.
