Post: lovebirds lay eggs outside of the nestPosted by Sarah Yoelson on 10/21/12
i have a pair of matched lovebirds (male and female) i
noticed 3 eggs on the bottom of the cage and i also noticed
that they have exhibited all the actions of a mating pair.
i then provided a nest box with straw and paper for them.
they spend a lot of time in the nest but 2 days later i
noticed another egg on the bottom of the cage. should i put
this egg in the nest? is it important that i do not disturb
the nest? will they get the idea? what should i do? thank
you
