It was probably unweaned, most places will not sell a
unweaned baby, this is best. Most people do not know how to
handfeed or wean correctly. You want a fully weaned, weight
being consistant and eating well before bringing home.
Always take to Avian cert. vet for new bird check up to
assure healthy, well bird is what you now own. You cant just
go on pet shop or breeders word anymore, alot of good onest
ones but just as many un honest bad ones. Do alot of
research/ reading on what kind of bird you want and what to
look for, Google is great, also word of mouth.
