It,s really simple to get your mccaw in the cage. When you have her food ready, tell her to step-up (on your arm)so she can see you put her food in the cage. Make sure she is really hungry.(no snacks after 7pm./ She should be very hungry in the am I,ll betyou 5 bucks she,ll go right in cage to eat! On time when I was in the hosptial, and needed a pet sitter.I didn,t know she and her husband had no expericence with parrots of any kind.My pesch crested coocktoo,Sherry, is quite a carater, and can be a hand-full. The pet ss >>>sitter callme in the hospital, and was very up-set because she couldn,t get Sherry back in her cage. I told her to put her food in. Guess what,Sherry went immeditaly in her cage while I was still on thephone with the sitter. I could a book about Sherry! Could you tell your mccaws name!
