First and foremost mice are atracted to seeds, pellets bird food for a source of eating...if th room or aviary isnt clean always then youll battle the problem for a long time.id recommend calling a pest control person to advise on your peticular situations as mice and rats contract rabies and other diseases that could be lethal your your birds more so than any stress issues. stress issues would be the last thing id be worried about in your situation. my concern would be the health of the birds with the rodents around them. because when you clean the floor the mice will get in the cages... what do you think that will do the stress level of the birds. u just dont see them in cages due to they move at night
