I have just the opposite our female gets moody (she'll be 13 in
May) and we have a 48+\- male who is a cuddy bear 24/7, 365 days a
year. Once in a great while he will get excited when I am petting
him but within 5 seconds he forgets about it and goes back to
chewing on my shirt, his favorite past tme.
