    Thank you for the input. My regular vet suggested I set up an
    appointment with an avian specialist, so I've done that.
    Haven't tried Benebac or yogurt, though I think I'll try the
    yogurt as soon as possible. I just hope it's nothing
    serious. I'm worried sick about the little guy. He's been my
    constant companion for the last 17 years. Don't know what I'd
    do without him. Thanks again.
