Post: cockatiels and parakeets?

I have a neighbor who is breeding cockatiels and parakets
and they are in the same cage (it is a really big cage,
five by five by fourteen) and I was wondering if the birds
would not get along once breeding commenced? she has not
had any problems yet but only the cockatiels have started
nesting, I don't know if the tiels would kick a parakeet
off its nest or not but my friends has not had any nesting
parakeets yet, should she separate them? or give them more
time?
