    Yes, it does sound like it might be a Ringneck but you really
    need to be sure so that you can be providing the proper diet,
    etc. I would suggest you do a google search for "ringneck
    parrots pictures". That should settle it. If it does, you are
    good to go. If not, you need to keep trying. If you can take
    a picture and post it here, that might help also.

    They come in a variety of colors so try this. Sorry I can't
    put it in link for as posts with links never seem to make it to
    the board. Just paste the following in your browser and see if
    it works.
