    You know,I think the smarter the bird,the more neurotic they can
    be.I had a LS cockatoo that had an unreal vocabulary as well,he
    was completely naked as well,and my Mom also has a cherry head
    that has plucked for 15 years and quit growing feathers a LONG
    time ago.Talks nonstop.Would explain as well why greys get as
    crazy as they do...people work that way too,some of the smartest
    people I know are nutty.
