I don't know how what I said about the "teenyboppers" got misconstrued so
badly,so let me say it in BIG letters,so everyone understands.
THE TEENYBOPPERS IN QUESTION WORKED AT A LOCAL PET SHOP AS STATED,NOT A
PETCO.I WAS USING THAT AS AN EXAMPLE OF HOW ANY PET STORE CAN BE BAD OR
GOOD.THEY ALREADY THINK THEY KNOW EVERYTHING,THEY LIE ABOUT THE BIRDS THAT COME
IN,AND TREAT PEOPLE AS THOUGH THEY ARE IDIOTS WHILE NEGLECTING THE ANIMALS IN
QUESTION.
They already believe at 17,18 they are "god's gift to animal care" and I
suppose that attitude will stay with them,as the one in question that went on
to open her own shop has reduced customers to tears a couple times that I know
of.They have crippled and killed very expensive birds,and the store in question
no longer carries reptiles because they could not care for them properly.
I used "teenyboppers" as a derogative term referring to a CERTAIN group of
people,not an age group in particular.So please don't take my comment out of
context.I was using something G-rated instead of just saying what they are.
And for the record,I was only 17 when we started raising birds too.
