I am glad that I am not alone.
My 12 year old female quaker is in nest mode and molting.
I read about the bare chest(brood patch)and was calmed.
Anxiety set in as the plucking rapidly progressed. OMG.
I have an appointment with my avian vet.
Meanwhile I am looking at the environement, etc.
It is quite shocking to see my beautiful girl partially plucked.
