You are not a loser unless you make the same mistake twice.
Anyone of us can make one, once. Yes, snakes are a huge risk
for birds and there is not cage that I know of, that they can't
get in. But, that's not the only danger out there. So many
air borne and otherwise, parasites and diseases carred by wild
birds and mosquitos (West Nile), it's just not worth the risk
to me. I'd rather mine get their fresh air through the screen
when weather permits and their sunshine from my full spectrum
lighting. I'm so glad you got there in time and hope she will
have no lasting effects from it. GL
