Hi Bill....Yes, the European Robin is a softbill birds. A
good diet for them is Feast Insectivorous from the Birdcare
Company or Orlux......Insect Patee. Both of this soft food
have a good dry insects....and a good source of protein for
your bird. If your bird's sing and its has variety in its
song it must be a male. Have a good day......
