BIRDS FOUND: Parakeet/Budgerigar

Found: Des Plaines, IL on 8/13/12

I have been seeing a green and yellow parakeet in the tree
in my front yard this morning. I haven't been able to catch
it yet, but I am trying. If you have lost one of these
birds in the chicago area and think it might be yours,
please come help me! We have hawks nesting around here and
I am afraid this bird will end up as a snack if it is not
brought indoors soon.
