Quigley is a female dusky conure lost in the woods on NW 125th Street in Alacha, Florida on the evening of September 1st, 2008. She is mainly green with midnight blue primary and tail feathers with a greyish head. She is very friendly but a bit skittish with new people/typically doesn't bite. She says a garbled "go potty" and gives kisses. She has responded to us with a scream from the trees when we call her name or give kisses in a high pitched voice but is typically a quiet bird unfortunately. She is rather small for her species - only 94 grams and has the first 5-6 primary feathers trimmed but (apparently) can still fly pretty well. She loves most fruit, veggies, and nuts (pine nuts are your best bet at coaxing her). PLEASE call 860-961-4295 or 860-983-3647 if she is spotted - we are desperate to have our baby back(these are Connecticut cell phone numbers as we just moved). We have her band number (the band is copper color) and will provide it to her rescuer. She has other identifying characteristics that can be provided upon her rescue. Thank You!
