Hi all, I have two Hyacinth Macaws for sale. These are not
culls. I have finally decided that I am ready to part with
these last two Hys. I just won't have room for them when I
move. They are both about 15 years old, in perfect feather
and in great health.
First the hen....She is a great bird. She is large, talks,
is very animated and I can handle her. She was a pet the
first 10 years of her life then she wanted to breed so I
set her up with a male and she produced a few sweet babies.
A couple of years ago, due to my health issues, I realized
it was time for me to cut back and I sold all my other
birds and most all of my Hyacinths macaws. I kept her and
let her be a pet again. She is probably the best Hyacinth
hen, out of the 15 or so hens I've had. She is a really
nice bird that anyone would be proud to have. She is not
cheap but she is everything that you would want in a pet or
breeder Hyacinth macaw. I'm looking for a great home for
her with someone that knows how to properly care for
Second the male....What a character!! He talks a bit, hes
huge and very animated. He loves to shake your hand. He is
another bird that I kept for myself but its time for him to
go as well. He has been a pet all his life. I've had him
for only a few years and haven't had time to work with him.
I can almost handle him but he won't step up on my arm the
normal way. I can pick him up by putting my hands around
his back and he is ok with that. I can pet his head as
well. Give him some loving time and he will come around. He
is a very loving bird with quite the personality. He was
never set up for breeding. Again, this is a premium
Hyacinth macaw and I will not sell him cheap.
I will only sell these Hyacinth Macaws to a good home where
the owner knows how to keep Hyacinth Macaws properly. Those
of you that know me probably already know that I have some
health problems, and that I've been selling off my stock. I
already sold 11 pairs of Hyacinths and I was never going to
sell these 2 but I see that it is time. I really hate to
part with them. Originally I held them back to keep as pets
for myself in my retirement. But I can't keep them where
I'm moving and realistically....I want to make sure they go
to good homes before God calls me. Check me out all you
want. Go to my website as well. Please, serious inquiries
Also, I have a huge sectional flight cage suitable for
Hyacinth macaws, tons of crocks, perches, carriers, toys
and all the supplies necessary to raise babies. I also have
a new large DEANS BROODER for sale.

I'm moving due to my health and age and I won't have room
at the new place to take all my birds with. I thought I
could keep 5 but that can't happen now. Sadly, I'll only
have room for 3. The remaining last 3 Hyacinths will be
kept in my family when I'm gone. I need to find proper
homes for the 2 listed above and I'm done.
Contact me for photos.
I specialize and only breed Hyacinths Macaws now due to my
health issues. All babies are family raised in our closed
home-aviary to insure, sweet, healthy, lifelong companions.
Health guaranteed and plenty of references. I will ship.
