    How devastating.. I cannot imagine. It must be the well that is the
    only thing that changed. Since the water table was low you were probably
    bringing up Lord knows what in the water. Did you have the water tested
    when it was low. We are on a well and have a system that filters and
    cleans our water. No problem with birds. So sorry.. look into the water
    bet that is it.
