Good for you. I am glad to see you are wanting to be prepared. Cockatoos
are beautiful and amazing creatures, but only for those who willing to
dedicate alot of time to their needs.
Before we got our Ms rescue, we made sure we were prepared because we had
read the not so nice stories and the self destructing if not properly
cared for. Not to mention the Vet bills should our bird need vet care.
We almost changed our minds but knew with everything we had read and the
questions We had asked (quite a few) we felt we could provide a good home
Just as we have a standard poodle. Alot of people like them, but fail to
realize that these dogs are high maintenance and need grooming...... $50.
each time she gets groomed. Otherwise, if not properly cared for can have
matting, not to mention ear problems with all the hair in their ears.
